If you’re a physical media aficionado, we’re happy to announce that you can pick up The Nut Job 2 on both Blu-Ray and DVD today. It’s always an interesting process to take a movie from script, through theatrical exhibition, to the eventual release on home video. It’s the end of The Nut Job 2 journey, and we’re happy people get to see the movie again!
The Nut Job 2 is now available on iTunes as an early release movie. The digital copy has all the extra features from the Blu-Ray / DVD, which hits stores on November 14.
Escape From Planet Earth is now available on Blu-ray and DVD! The home video release means the domestic theatrical run will be winding down very soon. Escape managed to gross over $56 million domestically… not bad for an independent animated film!
Escape will be available for purchase on iTunes May 21. The US release comes with two “iTunes Extras”. For all the special features including storyboards and the director’s commentary, you’ll need to pick up the Blu-Ray on June 4.
