A large box arrived at our office this afternoon, containing the standee for The Nut Job 2! These are now in theaters all over Canada and the US, so keep an eye out for it when you’re at the movies. We’re nearly at the end of production, and it’s fun to start seeing everything come together!

Very excited to announce the first trailer for The Nut Job 2 will be premiering on December 21 in front of Illumination’s SING! The trailer is exclusive to theaters at the moment, and will be online early in the new year. It’s exciting to finally get a chance to share some of The Nut Job 2 with the world, and we couldn’t be happier to be in theaters with SING. We saw the SING world premiere at TIFF this year and the movie is a lot of fun – congrats to our friends at Illumination!
This Nut Job 2 bus was driving around in Cannes, where our international sales team was hard at work selling the movie at Mipcom. Since not everyone can have their very own Nut Job 2 bus, we also made some lanyards. Lots of cool stuff coming up, including an announcement about our first trailer soon!
We’re currently in China and just finished recording the amazing Jackie Chan, who plays Mr. Feng, the little white mouse in The Nut Job 2. It was a whirlwind two-day trip, and we’re flying home in the morning. Looking forward to getting back to the studio!
Had a great time recording Maya Rudolph and Sebastian Maniscalco for The Nut Job 2 today. Both hilarious comic actors. Couldn’t be more excited to have them in the movie!

We’re happy to announce that Jackie Chan has joined the cast of The Nut Job 2! Jackie will be playing the role of Mr. Feng, a tough city mouse who knows kung-fu.

We’re also pleased to announce that Bobby Moynihan and Bobby Cannavale have joined the cast of The Nut Job 2. Both these guys are fantastic, funny actors, and it’s been a pleasure to work with them!
