$21 Million Opening Weekend!

presidents dayEscape From Planet Earth had an INCREDIBLE opening weekend! Our total box office gross over the 4-day holiday was $21,101,976. On a budget of only $40 million, that ain’t half bad! To top it off, on February 18 (Presidents’ Day) we were #1 at the North American box office!

We went to see the movie on opening day, and it was great to watch it with an audience. We spent the entire weekend glued to our computers, waiting for the box office results and the audience response. We had a great audience response, and wound up with a B+ Cinemascore.

A huge thanks to everyone who came out and saw the movie!
